Hypermass

Hypermass is an open platform for publishing and subscribing to live data.

We're in active development of features and tools - if you hit any issues please reach out on Discord

Our mission is to be an upstanding and useful member of the wider data community of institutions, tinkerers, data analysts, and many more. For our part, we will strive to be as open as possible about design, decisions, and reasoning.

Getting Started​

First, we'd suggest just having a browse around Hypermass to get a feel for how it works. You can publish and download data from the site directly - this is a great way to get a feel for the site behaviour.

Once you’re ready to go, try the CLI - it's quick to set up and allows you to publish and subscribe to data streams from the command line, and from your own programs. We consider this to be the best and simplest way to subscribe to data (there is also an API, but we recommend leaving that for specialised use cases).

Contributing​

We welcome contributions to the open source elements of our ecosystem, and for everything else we appreciate any well-intentioned input, be it criticism, suggestions, or anything else. The most helpful contributions to us at the moment are general feedback, documentation, and detailed bug reports. For code contributions, talk to us first on Discord.
